Our donors make our music happen: affordable concerts, accessible education and high-level research.

For more than four decades, the Academy of Ancient Music has been changing the way the world hears some of the greatest music ever written. We have got this far thanks to the generosity of our supporters: but there is much more to do.

We are ambitious: presenting masterpieces; working with leading artists of our time; releasing more recordings; and delving deep into the past with doctoral research projects on Beethoven’s contemporaries. Off-stage, we are determined to introduce more and more young and disadvantaged people to music via a major expansion of our outreach programme, AAMplify.

We can only do this, and continue to heighten the levels of excellence for which we are renowned, with your help. By supporting AAM you play an essential role in sustaining our excellent performances, recordings, and education, bringing more early music experiences to more people every year.

AAM Academy – with a donation of £1000+ p/a
Your support as an Academy member will develop our artistic activity and ensure our longevity, bringing our music to millions every year, season after season. As an Academy member you will be at the very heart of the orchestra.
You will receive invitations to exclusive events that give you opportunities to meet the musicians, immerse yourself in our music, and explore our work behind the scenes. With the support of our Academy members, AAM’s artistic excellence will develop and our artistic vision and achievements will grow with strength and sustainability.

AAM Associates – with a donation of £300-£999 p/a
Your support as an Associate will sustain our music-making every season. As an Associate you will be close to the Academy of Ancient Music’s work, experiencing our music-making beyond the concert-platform. You will be the first to hear about news, developments and plans for the future; and you will receive invitations to special AAM events. Associate members form the foundation from which AAM’s music is made.

Friends of AAM are the heart of our audience, and membership starts from only £3 per month.

Silver Friends enjoy an invitation to attend an open rehearsal, a monthly update on our activity and are the first to hear our latest news.

Gold Friends enjoy all the benefits of silver friendship plus priority booking for AAM performances in London.
