Bach: St John Passion

J.S. Bach’s St John Passion is a monument in the baroque canon, an intensely personal experience that brings to life the humanity of the Passion story. Presenting this masterpiece in two performances during Eastertime, AAM is delighted to be working with illustrious conductors and choirs to bring this magnificent work the stature it truly deserves.

The Director of Music at King’s College Cambridge, Daniel Hyde will conduct the first performance of the Passion with The Choir of King’s College, one of the world’s most renowned and celebrated choral groups. Presented in the iconic Chapel of King’s College, this performance marks another fresh off a new release of Bach’s St Matthew

Known for his deft pianism and accomplished conducting, William Vann performs with a host of major singers and instrumentalists across the world. Founder and Artistic Director of the London English Song Festival, William will be joined by the Chapel Choir of Royal Hospital Chelsea – one of the finest professional church choirs in the UK – for this performance in London’s Cadogan Hall.
