Special appeals

From time to time, AAM supporters become especially closely involved with a project of particular artistic importance to the orchestra by supporting a special appeal.

In 2009-10 the AAM Bach Patrons raised £85,000 in support of The Bach Dynasty — the concert series at the heart of the AAM’s work in 2010-11. 

In the coming year, a syndicate will support Musical Revolutions — the 2011-12 concert series — which will explore the story of music from the dawn of the cantata in early seventeenth-century Italy to the awakening of the Romantic hero in the early nineteenth century.
