AAM prepares for performances of St John Passion
This week the AAM gives two performances of JS Bach's St John Passion with the Choir of King's College, Cambridge. On Tuesday 19 April we give our annual rendition in King's Chapel, Cambridge; and on Wednesday 20 April we perform in London with King's Choir for the first time, at Cadogan Hall.
The performances star Andrew Kennedy, described as "outstanding" by The Guardian in the 2010 BBC Proms, as the Evangelist.
We caught up with AAM principal cellist Joseph Crouch ahead of the concerts. Joseph was a choral scholar in King's Choir, and we talked to him about his time in the Choir, as well as the special nature of the St John Passion. You can watch the interview in the media player on the left.
Both performances are sold out, but there might be returns available on the door. Click here for booking details.
You can download the programme for the concerts for free from 'Resources'.
